UIL Academics

CCMS is excited to have our students represent our school at this year's Academic UIL meet in Celina on Saturday, February 21, 2026!

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) offers the nation's most comprehensive program of academic competition, with 20 A+ Academic contests for grades 2-8. Our students have the opportunity to compete in 17 of those events.
These activities, which complement the academic curriculum, are designed to motivate students as they acquire higher levels of knowledge, challenge students to confront issues of importance, and provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of specific skills. Students are challenged to think critically and creatively, exhibiting much more than knowledge and comprehension.
Practices begin the week of October 20.  All information related to our Academic UIL program can be found at bit.ly/CCMSUIL, including practice schedules FAQs and more.
We have had great success over the last few years and can't wait to see what our students can do this year. All students are welcome and encouraged to take part.
