UIL Academics

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) offers the nation's most comprehensive program of academic competition, with 20 A+ Academic contests for grades 2-8. Our students have the opportunity to compete in 15 of those events.

These activities, which complement the academic curriculum, are designed to motivate students as they acquire higher levels of knowledge, challenge students to confront issues of importance, and provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of specific skills. Students are challenged to think critically and creatively, exhibiting much more than knowledge and comprehension.

Practices begin the week of October 23, and practice schedules will be posted in Schoology.

We are looking forward to another amazing year of Academic UIL competition. We have had great success over the last few years and can't wait to see what our students can do this year. We welcome any students to take part.
