Clemons Creek Middle School choir students recently represented the Pack with pride at the UIL Choir Concert and Sightreading Contest. Both the combined Clemons Creek and Slayter Creek choirs delivered impressive performances after months of hard work and dedication.

Our students traveled to Celina to compete in the Academic UIL meet against six other schools — and they represented our campus with excellence!

Clemons Creek Middle School made history this month with its first-ever Talent Show, and the Coyotes did not disappoint. Students took the stage both individually and in groups, proudly representing their Houses in a night full of energy, creativity, and courage.

Yearbook students take photos. That is for certain. But behind that lens, there's a lot more these students cover and some pretty high expectations for them to meet.

At Clemons Creek Middle School, the Coyotes are learning that character counts—and now, it earns points too. This year, our campus has launched PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) as a way to recognize and celebrate the behaviors that make our school community stronger.

The Holiday Activity Rooms brought excitement, laughter, and plenty of festive cheer to CCMS as students celebrated one of the school’s most loved traditions. Started in our very first year, this event has become a favorite for students and staff alike, giving everyone a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the season together.

Brains were buzzing as students faced off in this year’s Brain Bowl, an exciting academic trivia competition that tested quick thinking, teamwork, and knowledge across subjects like math, science, history, and language arts.

The third annual Fall House Games brought some of the fiercest competition—and loudest crowds—of the year.

At Clemons, competition season isn’t just about the field or the court — it’s also about the classroom. Our scholars are stepping into this year’s UIL Academic Competitions ready to think critically, problem-solve, and showcase their strengths.

The lights dimmed, and a hush fell over the audience as the first eerie notes drifted through the cafeteria. The annual Fall Band Concert was underway, and this year’s theme had everyone feeling a little spooked.

CCMS Theater kicked off the year with its first play, “La Llorona,” a spooky Halloween story that was perfect for middle school vibes. 

Once a year, the outfits get wilder, the spirit gets louder, and the memories last forever. This week, halls were decked out with school spirit as CCMS kicked off Homecoming 2025 with the theme “Let the Games Begin,” echoing our school-wide motto of “Glory through Grit.”

They’re usually the first here in the morning and the last to leave at night. They lesson plan and then draw up plays. They teach in classrooms, lead on fields and courts, and inspire in both. Coyote coaches don’t just train athletes — they build character, teamwork, and resilience that lasts far beyond the season.

With House competitions in full swing, CCMS kicked off its first whole-school event of the year: The Amazing Shake.

Where some believe fall is for Friday night lights, CCMS Lady Coyotes crave the sound of squeaky shoes on the gym floor and echoes of "MINE" shouting behind them. Volleyball season has begun.
